1. My username is captain_yavanna because ______.

-"captain" because I created my account back in 2007 when Pirates of the Caribbean came out, so I was in a "pirate" phase. Even though I always thought pirates were wupah cool and always wanted to be one =P
-"yavanna" because I'm a huge Tolkien stan, Yavanna is one of the Valar in The Silmarillion, which are the "gods" of Middle Earth. Let's say she is the Nature goddess, but I chose that name mostly because I love it.

I tried to choose a username I knew I wouldn't regret like one year later because I wouldn't love the same things and I guess I succeeded cause I still like it.

2. My name is Jéromine because ______.

Because my mom was reading Jéromine Pasteur's books during her pregnancy. She's the gran daughter of Louis Pasteur, but mainly she's an explorer. When she was 23 she built her own boat and sailed the seas all alone. She also spent years living with an Indian tribe in Peru.
So yeah I'm kinda proud to be named after her even though it took me some time before accepting it, kids are cruel =/

3. My journal is titled The Road Goes Ever On... because ____.

Another Tolkien reference. This is from a song featuring in The Lord Of The Rings that Bilbo and Gandalf are singing. This is also a really symbolic quote to me, meaning that no matter what there is always something brighter behind every obstacle and that the adventure never ends.
To me it also echoes one of my favorite quotes from the book, spoken by Gandalf:
"End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it. White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise."

4. My friends page is called for because ____.

XD Okay that's a fail, but it's only because I like using quotes for naming the links. I don't usually think about which word is gonna go for which link.

5. My default userpic is Edward Scissorhands because ____.

I like my default icon to match my layout (I'm kinda obsessed with everything matching everything tbh xD), so I usually take a part of the layout I'm using at the moment and make an icon out of it. I chose Edward for this one cause it's one of my favorite movies ever. lol that's it. lame explanation is lame.
